Questions about the models.
What does Seedance 2.5 cost?
$0.13 a second at 480p, $0.29 a second at 720p, $0.60 a second at 1080p, to the nearest cent, for a 16:9 frame, with sound or without, as of October 11, 2026. A 5-second clip at 720p is $1.44. There is no subscription: you add funds in dollars and pay for what is rendered.
What does a draft cost, and what does finishing it cost?
A draft is a 480p preview and is billed as 480p. Making it final renders that same take at 1080p and is billed at the 1080p price for its length, on top of the draft: for 10 seconds, $1.29 for the draft and $6.00 for the final. A draft can be made final once, within 7 days. Only Seedance 2.5 has a draft mode.
How many reference images does Seedance 2.5 take?
Up to 30 reference images, 10 reference videos and 10 audio clips in one render. In the app you do not attach them by hand: type a character's, a place's or a prop's @name in a shot and its pictures are sent.
How long can a Seedance 2.5 video be?
4 to 30 seconds a render. A sequence of several shots renders as one clip with its cuts in it.
Does Seedance 2.5 make vertical video?
Yes. 9:16, 16:9 and 4:3, at 480p, 720p or 1080p, at 24 frames a second. 2K and 4K come from upscaling a finished clip.
Can I render at 4K?
Seedance 2.0, Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast render at 4K. Seedance 2.5 renders up to 1080p, and any finished clip can be upscaled to 2K or 4K, which changes nothing in the shot.
Can a planned sequence render on a model other than Seedance 2.5?
A sequence you send to video opens in the video generator on Seedance 2.5, with its prompt and its references in place. The engine menu there offers the other models, and the price on the button changes with the one you pick.
Which model should I use?
For a scene with several shots and the same people in each, Seedance 2.5. For a single short clip, Veo 3.1 is also there. For pictures, GPT Image 2.5 frames shots well; Seedream makes faces that Seedance accepts as references; Nano Banana Pro is the best at lettering. You choose the model for each picture and render, and the price on the button changes with it.
Do I need a separate account with each model's maker?
No. One balance in the app pays for all of them, at the price shown before you press.
Try any of them. Pay for what is made.
No card needed. Finish the tutorial in the app and $3 is added to your balance.
