A full production studio, wherever you need one.

Story Atlas serves the whole country, and the work holds the same standard wherever it's made.

  • A cinema camera built on a tripod with a prime lens and matte box, facing a lit interior set
  • A 35mm cine prime and matte box on a camera body, shooting up into an autumn canopy
  • An overhead silk and bounce boards shaping late daylight on a hillside location
  • An operator setting a camera and zoom lens on a vehicle mount, outdoors
  • A large soft source keying a wide studio setup while a scene is shot
  • A monitor at video village showing the framed shot as it is being recorded
  • Two monitors showing a corridor setup while the shot is checked
  • A location setup with a silk, a solid and a picture vehicle below a forested ridge

Why Story Atlas exists

The film business is built around a handful of major production hubs, where demand and competition keep crews and equipment highly available. In Los Angeles, gear and crew rates can often be lower than those in regional markets. Story Atlas uses that to your advantage — we source the right resources from multiple vendors and travel only the essential personnel.

Story Atlas was founded by Andrew Svistunov, a Los Angeles–based producer who has made national campaigns, broadcast commercials, and brand films for enterprise clients. That experience shapes everything here: how a shoot gets planned, how it gets run, and how the finished work holds up years later.

We handle the logistics, crew, equipment, and vendors around your location, so you can focus on the work itself.
